What is a typical YogaDance class?   

A typical class allows you to tap into the energy of each chakra as you move to music from around the world.

  • We begin by warming up in our First Chakra so that we become grounded and centered..
  • Next we lovingly sway our hips and pelvis as we tap into the creativity we hold in our Second Chakra.
  • Third chakra rhythms allow us to awaken to the power within our solar plexus.   
  • In Fourth Chakra rhythms, we might incorporate a scarf dance and moves that allow us to tap into our hearts.
  • To open the Fifth Chakra, the throat, we let loose to energetic music that encourages shouting and “flying” with joy.
  • Slowing down, we listen to that soft intuitive voice of the Sixth Chakra.
  • Finally, we cool down with stretches and relax into meditation to tap into the Seventh Chakra.
